Maxi Expo

Returns policy

The following rules set out the terms of withdrawal from the agreement and the return of products purchased in the Maxi Expo online shop. These rules do not limit the rights of Customers under mandatory provisions of law.

Seller:
Maxi Expo Artur Kanecki
ul. Potocka 31
01-619 Warsaw
VAT ID: PL5221312410

1. Right of withdrawal

A consumer who has concluded a distance sales agreement via the online shop generally has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving a reason.

The 14-day period runs from the day the Consumer, or a third party indicated by them other than the carrier, takes possession of the product. If one order includes several products delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last product, batch or part.

To meet the deadline, it is enough to send the withdrawal statement before the 14 days have elapsed.

2. How to request a return

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Maxi Expo of your decision by an unequivocal statement.

The statement can be sent in particular:

  • by email to: info@maxiexpo.pl,
  • in writing to: Maxi Expo, ul. Potocka 31, 01-619 Warsaw, Poland.

Using the form at the end of this page is optional. The Customer may also make the statement in another unequivocal form.

Tip: to process your return more efficiently, please give the order number, the buyer's name or company name and the name of the product being returned. However, the absence of this information does not deprive the Consumer of the right to withdraw from the agreement.

3. Deadline for sending back the product

The product must be returned without undue delay, and no later than within 14 days of informing Maxi Expo of the withdrawal from the agreement.

To meet the deadline, it is enough to send the product back before it expires.

Before sending bulky products, we recommend contacting Maxi Expo to agree a safe method of transport.

4. Return costs

The direct cost of returning the product in connection with withdrawal from the agreement is borne by the Customer, unless Maxi Expo expressly agrees to bear this cost.

For products that cannot be returned by ordinary post due to their size, weight or packaging, the return cost may be higher and depends on factors such as the size of the shipment, the number of parcels, the weight and the chosen carrier.

Bulky products:
If a product cannot be returned by ordinary post, information about the expected cost of its return should be provided to the Customer before the agreement is concluded, in particular on the product page, in the cart, in the terms and conditions or in the delivery information.

5. Refund of payment

In the event of effective withdrawal from the agreement, Maxi Expo will refund to the Consumer all payments received from them covered by the withdrawal, including the cost of delivering the product to the Consumer corresponding to the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the shop.

If the Customer chose a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard method offered by Maxi Expo, the additional cost resulting from that choice is not refundable.

The refund will be made without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day Maxi Expo receives the information about the withdrawal from the agreement.

Maxi Expo may withhold the refund until it receives the returned product or the Customer provides proof that it has been sent back – whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer, unless the Customer expressly agrees to a different refund method that does not involve any additional costs for them.

6. Condition of the returned product

The Consumer has the right to examine the product and check its nature, characteristics and functioning to the extent they could do so in a physical shop.

The Consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the product if they used it beyond what was necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

In particular, a reduction in value may occur in the event of soiling, damage, permanent installation, use of the product at an event, trade show or display, or other signs of use going beyond an ordinary check of the product.

Where possible, please return the product with its accessories, instructions and protective packaging. The absence of the original packaging does not in itself result in the loss of the statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Products made to order

IMPORTANT – personalised products and products made to the Customer's specification

The right of withdrawal does not apply to non-prefabricated products made to the Customer's specification or to meet their individual needs.

In the Maxi Expo range, this may apply in particular to:

  • prints made from graphic files supplied or approved by the Customer,
  • display walls, roll-ups, flags, counters, lightboxes, trade show systems and other products made with the Customer's individual graphics,
  • products made in non-standard dimensions specified by the Customer,
  • products made according to an individual design,
  • products cut, modified, marked or configured specifically to the Customer's individual requirements,
  • other products which, once made to an individual specification, cannot be offered to another customer as a standard product without significant limitations.

In particular, products with an individual print made from graphics approved by the Customer are not subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal if they meet the criteria of a product made to the Customer's specification.

Note: simply describing a product as “made to order”, sourcing it from a supplier only after the order is received or the product not being in current stock does not automatically mean the loss of the right of withdrawal. The exclusion applies to products that are genuinely individualised or made to the Customer's specification.

8. Standard structure + custom print

If the order includes separable elements, e.g. the standard structure of a display system and a separately made individual print, the possibility of withdrawal is assessed separately for each item, provided the nature of the agreement and product allows such separation.

In such a case, the exclusion of the right of withdrawal may apply in particular to the individual print, while the standard, non-personalised structure may be subject to the general rules of withdrawal.

9. Personalised products and complaints

The absence of a right of withdrawal does not mean the absence of a right to complain.

If a product made to order, including a printed product, does not conform to the agreement, is damaged, incomplete or was made inconsistently with the approved specification, the Customer retains their rights under the applicable complaint provisions.

Complaints can be submitted to: info@maxiexpo.pl.

To speed up the complaint process, please include the order number, a description of the problem and – if possible – photographs.

10. B2B orders

The statutory right to withdraw from a distance agreement is available to Consumers and – in cases provided by law – to certain natural persons conducting business activity who are granted consumer protection in a given transaction.

For purchases made by a business to which consumer law does not apply, in particular by a company or in a transaction of a professional nature for a person conducting business activity, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply.

Any return of a correct product that conforms to the order in a typical B2B transaction requires prior individual agreement with Maxi Expo.

11. Return shipments

The returned product should be properly protected for transport, taking into account its nature, dimensions and susceptibility to damage.

Please do not send return shipments cash on delivery. You don't need to notify us of the return by phone in advance, but for bulky products we recommend contacting us first to agree the safest form of transport.

12. Withdrawal form

The form is optional. To withdraw from the agreement, you can use the template below or send another unequivocal statement.
